Our client design brief was for a modern family home – self sufficient, with the opportunity to view surrounding countryside.

They had clear design ideas in mind, which we were able to expand upon – in order to construct a home that they’re delighted with. Scyon Axon external cladding was used – for its clean vertical lines and low maintenance. Other design features include textured brick walls to the entrance way and fireplace, plus burnished concrete to all living area floors – for a natural durable, semi-industrial look. The client’s off-grid setup includes solar power, with a battery room currently located within the adjoining ruins of the original stonemason’s home (to be subsequently restored).
